Lighting is a very important detail, not to be missed at all, to give an extra touch and to emphasize the peculiarities of the house. A very bright light stimulates the activity and at the same time makes the smaller room as larger dimensions. Instead, a dimmed light induces to relaxing and intimacy and can underline a particular area of a very large environment or multi-purpose as, for example, a dining room. Depending on the surrounding environment and our experience we can decide what type of lighting is indicated or which combinations are most suitable. We have to consider that there are three types of lighting: targeted to highlight a particular of the room and it can be created with spotlights, deflectors, light intensity variators; diffused to illuminate a room as a whole by chandeliers; direct to illuminate an area where specific activities are carried out as reading or cooking by using floor or table lamps.
